Sections 1 to 188, inclusive, 196 to 202, inclusive, and 204 to 207, inclusive effective: (a) Except as otherwise provided in paragraph (b) or (c), on November 1, 2003. (b) On January 1, 2004, for the purpose of requiring a resident agent who desires to resign to file a statement of resignation for each artificial person formed, organized, registered or qualified pursuant to the provisions of title 7 of NRS for which the resident agent is unwilling to continue to act as the resident agent for the service of process. (c) On January 1, 2004, for the purpose of requiring a resident agent to file a certificate of name change of resident agent if the name of the resident agent is changed as a result of a merger, conversion, exchange, sale, reorganization or amendment.
