      ASSEMBLY COMMITTEE ON ELECTIONS AND PROCEDURES

 

      Sixty-seventh Session

      April 27, 1993

 

 

 

The Assembly Committee on Elections and Procedures met in the Assembly Chambers at the desk of Chairman Myrna Williams on April 27, 1993, at 10:20 a.m., for the purpose of considering the introduction of the following bill draft requests.  A two thirds majority was present.

 

      BDR C-1921:Proposes to amend Nevada constitution to require that certain proceedings of commission on judicial discipline be open and public.

 

      ASSEMBLYMAN PORTER MOVED FOR COMMITTEE INTRODUCTION OF THE BILL DRAFT REQUEST.

 

      ASSEMBLYMAN GARNER SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

      MOTION CARRIED.

 

      BDR R-1989:Limits number of requests that may be submitted to Legislative Counsel during interim for drafting and directs completion of 1,000 bill drafts before convening of 68th session of Nevada Legislature.

 

      ASSEMBLYMAN LAMBERT MOVED FOR COMMITTEE INTRODUCTION OF THE BILL DRAFT REQUEST.

 

      ASSEMBLYMAN HUMKE SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

      MOTION CARRIED.

 

     

There being no further business to come before the Committee, Chairman Williams adjourned the meeting at 10:30 a.m.
