      ASSEMBLY COMMITTEE ON ELECTIONS AND PROCEDURES

 

      Sixty-seventh Session

The Assembly Committee on Elections and Procedures met in the Assembly Chambers at the desk of Chairman Myrna Williams on May 4, 1993, at 11:20 a.m., for the purpose of considering the introduction of the following bill draft requests.  A two thirds majority was present.

 

      BDR R-1778:Urges Congress to extend daylight saving time by 1 month.

 

      ASSEMBLYMAN EVANS MOVED FOR COMMITTEE INTRODUCTION OF THE BILL DRAFT REQUEST.

 

      ASSEMBLYMAN SADER SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

      MOTION CARRIED.

 

      BDR R-2005:Memorializes Nevada native and educator, Luis Esteban Justino Mendive.

 

      ASSEMBLYMAN SADER MOVED FOR COMMITTEE INTRODUCTION OF THE BILL DRAFT REQUEST.

 

      ASSEMBLYMAN HUMKE SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

      MOTION CARRIED.

 

      BDR 23-1707:      Makes various changes relating to commission on ethics.

 

      ASSEMBLYMAN GARNER MOVED FOR COMMITTEE INTRODUCTION OF THE BILL DRAFT REQUEST.

 

      ASSEMBLYMAN PETRAK SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

      MOTION CARRIED.

     

There being no further business to come before the Committee, Chairman Williams adjourned the meeting at 11:30 a.m.
