      ASSEMBLY COMMITTEE ON ELECTIONS AND PROCEDURES

 

      Sixty-seventh Session

The Assembly Committee on Elections and Procedures met in the Assembly Chambers at the desk of Chairman Myrna Williams on June 23, 1993, at 10:30 a.m., for the purpose of considering the introduction of the following bill draft request.  A two thirds majority was present.  The Committee voted to suspend Rule 92.

 

      BDR R-1943:Urges President of United States not to use surplus in Social Security to reduce national debt and limit budget deficit.

                          

      ASSEMBLYMAN SADER MOVED FOR COMMITTEE INTRODUCTION OF THE BILL DRAFT REQUEST.

 

      ASSEMBLYMAN PORTER SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

      MOTION CARRIED.

      ASSEMBLYMAN HUMKE MOVED TO SUSPEND RULE 92.

 

      ASSEMBLYMAN SADER SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

      MOTION CARRIED.

 

There being no further business to come before the Committee, Chairman Williams adjourned the meeting at 10:40 a.m.
