      ASSEMBLY COMMITTEE ON ELECTIONS AND PROCEDURES

 

      Sixty-seventh Session

      March 29, 1993

 

 

 

The Assembly Committee on Elections and Procedures met in the Assembly Chambers at the desk of Chairman Myrna Williams on March 29, 1993, at 11:45 a.m., for the purpose of considering the introduction of the following bill draft requests.  A two thirds majority was present.

 

      BDR 17-1884:      Allows greater flexibility in taking extended adjournment during regular session of legislature.

 

      ASSEMBLYMAN EVANS MOVED FOR COMMITTEE INTRODUCTION OF THE BILL DRAFT REQUEST.

 

      ASSEMBLYMAN GARNER SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

      MOTION CARRIED.

 

      BDR 24-871:Provides alternative locations for polling places for challenged voters.

 

      ASSEMBLYMAN SADER MOVED FOR COMMITTEE INTRODUCTION OF THE BILL DRAFT REQUEST.

 

      ASSEMBLYMAN HUMKE SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

      MOTION CARRIED.

 

There being no further business to come before the Committee, Chairman Williams adjourned the meeting at 11:55 a.m.
