The Assembly Committee on Taxation was called to order by Chairman Robert E. Price at 11:25 a.m., June 2, 1993, at Chairman Price's desk on the Floor of the Assembly Chambers at the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada.

The meeting was called for the purpose of considering committee introduction of a Bill Draft Request relative to an Assembly Joint Resolution urging opposition to the North American Free Trade Agreement.  Exhibit A is Record of Committee Meeting Held in Assembly Chambers.

 

BDR R-2130 -      Urges opposition to the North American Free Trade Agreement until certain provisions are included.

 

 

 

There being a two-thirds majority present...

 

 

      ASSEMBLYMAN NEIGHBORS MOVED FOR COMMITTEE INTRODUCTION.

 

      ASSEMBLYMAN REGAN SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

      THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. 

 

 

There being no further business to come before committee, the meeting was adjourned at 11:28 a.m.
