The Senate Committee on Commerce and Labor was called to order by Chairman Randolph J. Townsend, at 8:41 p.m., on Thursday, July 1, 1993, on the Senate floor of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada.  There was no Meeting Agenda.  There was no Attendance Roster.

Senator Townsend opened discussion on Assembly Bill (A.B.) 745.

 

ASSEMBLY BILL 745:      Revises fee charged fraternal benefit societies for certificate of authority to issue benefit contracts.

 

 

      SENATOR LOWDEN MOVED TO DO PASS A.B. 745.

 

      SENATOR McGINNESS SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

      THE MOTION CARRIED.  (SENATORS SHAFFER, NEVIN AND BROWN WERE ABSENT FOR THE VOTE.)
