The Senate Committee on Commerce and Labor was called to order by Chairman Randolph J. Townsend, at 10:50 a.m., on Wednesday, March 24, 1993, on the Senate floor of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada.  There was no Meeting Agenda.  There was no Attendance Roster.

Chairman Townsend opened the meeting on the floor of the Senate Chambers at l0:50 a.m.  Senator Townsend informed the committee that Senator Dina Titus had decided to withdraw her amendment to Senate Bill 316 on self-insureds.  Senator Titus told the committee she appreciated their cooperation.

 

SENATE BILL (S.B.) 316:Makes various changes to provisions governing industrial insurance.

 

Amendment No. 172 replaces Amendment No. 151.  This amendment is consistent with Amendments Nos. 149, 150, 152, 153, 154, 155, 158, 159, 166, 168, 170, 171, 173, 174 and 175.

                              

 

      SENATOR NEVIN MOVED TO WITHDRAW AMENDMENT NO. 172 TO S.B. 316.

 

      SENATOR McGINNESS SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

 

 

 

 

      THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
