The Senate Finance Committee was called to order by Chairman William J. Raggio, at 11:19 a.m., on Wednesday, June 30, 1993, on the Senate floor of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada.  There was no Meeting Agenda.  There was no Attendance Roster.

Chairman Raggio discussed Amendment No. 1061 to Senate Bill (S.B.) 361 and asked the committee for a motion to amend and do pass.  Discussion followed.

 

SENATE BILL 361:  Establishes office of science, engineering and technology within the commission on economic development.

 

      SENATOR COFFIN MOVED TO AMEND AND DO PASS S.B. 361.

 

      SENATOR JACOBSEN SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

      THE MOTION CARRIED.  (SENATORS CALLISTER AND O'DONNELL       VOTED NO.)

Vice Chairman Rawson discussed Amendment No. 1240 to Senate Bill (S.B.) 559 and asked the committee for a motion to amend and do pass.

 

SENATE BILL 559:  Provides for establishment of coordinated care program for recipients of Medicaid.
