                        Sixty-seventh Session

The Senate Committee on Human Resources and Facilities was called

to order by Chairman Raymond D. Rawson, at 5:30 p.m., on Tuesday,

June 29, 1993, on the Senate floor of the Legislative Building,

Carson City, Nevada.  There was no Meeting Agenda.  There was no

Attendance Roster.

Chairman Rawson opened the hearing on Assembly Bill (A.B.) 217.

 

ASSEMBLY BILL 217:     Requires postsecondary educational

institution                        not licensed to operate in

this state to be                        accredited before agent

of institution may be                        granted agent's

permit.  (BDR 34-557)

 

        SENATOR GLOMB MOVED TO DO PASS A.B. 217.

 

        SENATOR BROWN SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

        THE MOTION CARRIED.  (SENATORS TOWNSEND, NEAL AND COFFIN

WERE         ABSENT FOR THE VOTE.)
