The Senate Committee on Human Resources and Facilities was called to order by Chairman Raymond D. Rawson, at 2:25 p.m., on Friday, July 2, 1993, on the Senate floor of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada.  There was no Meeting Agenda.  There was no Attendance Roster.

Chairman Rawson opened the floor hearing on Assembly Bill (A.B.) 780. 

 

ASSEMBLY BILL 780:      Requires all swimming pools other than those at residences to comply with health and safety standards for public pools.  (BDR 40-1968)

 

Pepper Sturm, Research Analyst, provided the members of the committee with a copy of the proposed Senate Amendment No. 1379 (Exhibit A).  After a brief discussion Chairman Rawson requested a motion.

 

      SENATOR GLOMB MOVED TO AMEND AND DO PASS A.B. 780.

 

      SENATOR NEAL SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

      THE MOTION CARRIED.  (SENATORS O'DONNELL AND TOWNSEND WERE ABSENT FOR THE VOTE.)

Chairman Rawson adjourned the meeting at 2:30 p.m.
