The Senate Committee on Judiciary was called to order by Chairman Mark A. James, at 11:04 a.m., on Thursday, May 20, 1993, on the Senate floor of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada.

Chairman James called the meeting to order at his desk on the Senate floor to discuss the referral of Assembly Bill (A.B.) 490.

 

ASSEMBLY BILL 490:      Prohibits driving if subsequent test shows presence of alcohol. (BDR 43-512)

 

The Senate Committee on Judiciary was in agreement that A.B. 490 had been improperly referred to the Senate Committee on Judiciary and should be re-referred to the Senate Committee on Transportation.

 

            SENATOR SMITH MOVED TO RE-REFER A.B. 490 TO THE SENATE COMMITTEE ON TRANSPORTATION.

 

            SENATOR MCGINNESS SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

            THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
