The Senate Committee on Judiciary was called to order by Chairman Mark A. James, at 11:18 a.m., on Friday, June 11, 1993, on the Senate floor of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada.  There was no meeting agenda.  There was no attendance roster.

Chairman James called the meeting to order at his desk on the Senate floor to discuss committee introduction of Bill Draft Request (BDR) 52-1848.

 

 

      SENATOR ADLER MOVED FOR COMMITTEE INTRODUCTION OF BDR 52-1848.

 

      SENATOR SHAFFER SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

      THE MOTION CARRIED (SENATORS JACOBSEN AND TITUS WERE ABSENT FOR THE VOTE).

 

      * * * * *

 

 

The Senate Committee on Judiciary elected, pursuant to its previously announced limitation on new measures late in the legislative session, not to introduce Bill Draft Request 3-1568, brought to the committee by Senator Adler.  Chairman James suggested Senator Adler introduce the measure himself.

 

 

There being no further matters before the committee, Chairman James adjourned the meeting at 11:20 a.m.
