The Senate Committee on Legislative Affairs and Operations was called to order by Chairman Mike McGinness, at 11:19 a.m., on Thursday, July 1, 1993, on the Senate floor of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada. There was no Meeting Agenda. There was no Attendance Roster.

Chairman McGinness convened the meeting for discussion of Amendment No. 1349 to Assembly Concurrent Resolution (A.C.R.) 45.
ASSEMBLY CONCURRENT RESOLUTION 45: Limits number of requests that may be submitted to Legislative Counsel during interim for drafting and directs completion of 1,000 bill drafts before convening of 68th session of Nevada Legislature.

TO A.C.R. 45.
SENATOR RAWSON SECONDED THE MOTION.

The chairman moved to the next order of business to be discussed, Assembly Bill (A.B.) 4.
ASSEMBLY BILL 4: Requires lobbyist to provide additional information in registration statements and monthly reports. (BDR 17-13)
Following a brief discussion Chairman McGinness requested a motion.
SENATOR RAGGIO MOVED TO NOT RECEDE FROM AMENDMENT
NO. 1182 TO A.B. 4.
SENATOR RAWSON SECONDED THE MOTION.
THE MOTION CARRIED. (SENATOR GLOMB WAS ABSENT FOR THE VOTE.)

Chairman McGinness assigned a first Conference Committee on A.B. 4 consisting of Senators McGinness, Rawson and Titus.
There being no further business the chairman adjourned the meeting at 11:22 a.m.
