The Senate Committee on Transportation was called to order by Chairman William R. O'Donnell, at 8:52 a.m., on Saturday, June 26, 1993, on the Senate floor of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada.  There was no Meeting Agenda.  There was no Attendance Roster.

Chairman O'Donnell discussed Amendment No. 1021 to Assembly Bill (A.B.) 138 and asked the committee for a motion to amend and do pass.  Discussion followed.

 

ASSEMBLY BILL 138:      Revises provisions regarding speed limits in school zones and school crossing zones.

 

      SENATOR NEVIN MOVED TO AMEND AND DO PASS A.B. 138.                                                 

      SENATOR JACOBSEN SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

      MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.

Senator Neal asked the committee to formally suspend Senate Standing Rule 92 for the remainder of the session.  Chairman O'Donnell asked for a motion.

 

      SENATOR JACOBSEN MOVED TO SUSPEND SENATE STANDING RULE 92.

 

      SENATOR NEVIN SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

      MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
