ASSEMBLY CONCURRENT RESOLUTION--Amending the Joint Rules of the Senate and Assembly to require that a standing committee may hear and consider only information made available to the public. RESOLVED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, THE SENATE CONCURRING, That the Joint Rules of the Senate and Assembly as adopted by the 68th session of the Legislature are hereby amended by the following addition: \ 20 REQUIREMENTS FOR HEARINGS OF STANDING COMMITTEES During a regular legislative session, a standing committee may hear and consider only: 1. A bill or resolution that has been introduced in either House; 2. The draft of a bill or resolution, if the text of the draft is made available to the public; and 3. A specified section of NRS or the Nevada Constitution, if the text of the section and any proposed change are made available to the public.\\ -30-
