Rawson, at 10:40 a.m., on Wednesday, June 21, 1995, on the Senate floor of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada. There was no Agenda. There was no Attendance Roster. Neal, Jr. Senator Bob Coffin Senator Bernice Mathews STAFF MEMBER PRESENT: Joan Thran, Committee Secretary Senator Rawson started discussion of Amendment No. 921 to Senate Bill (S.B.) 31. SENATE BILL 31: Authorizes formation and operation of charter schools in Nevada. Senator Rawson explained to the committee Amendment No. 921 to S.B. 31 would allow no more than one charter school to exist in a county and also stated the requirements of persons to be employed as teachers in the charter school. Discussion followed with Senator Rawson adjourning the meeting at 10:43 a.m., with no action taken on the amendment.
