AN ACT relating to gaming; authorizing a gaming establishment that holds a nonrestricted license to relocate into a redevelopment area under certain circumstances; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1 Chapter 463 of NRS is hereby amended by adding thereto a new section to read as follows:
1. Notwithstanding any specific statute to the contrary, a person who holds a nonrestricted license, and any required county and municipal licenses, to operate a gaming establishment in any city may move that establishment, and transfer the licenses therefor, to a location situated in a redevelopment area in the city with the approval of the state gaming control board and the governing body of the city.
2. The commission shall adopt regulations to carry out the provisions of this section.
3. As used in this section, "redevelopment area" has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 279.410.
