The Subcommittee on Constitutional Amendments was called to order at 3:30 p.m., on Tuesday, March 9, 1999. Chairman Harry Mortenson presided in Room 3161 of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada. Exhibit A is the Agenda. Exhibit B is the Guest List. All Exhibits are available and on file at the Research Library of the Legislative Counsel Bureau.

Assembly Joint Resolution 3: Proposes to amend Nevada Constitution to require Nevada supreme court to decide each case in conformity with applicable decisions of United States Supreme Court. (BDR C-149)
Testimony was heard on A.J.R. 3 and Exhibits C and D were submitted for the record.
Transcription of minutes was not required. The taped recording of the meeting is on file with the Legislative Counsel Bureau Research Library.
The subcommittee decided to take no action, but to take the resolution back to the full committee for their consideration of the proposed amendments.
There being no further business to come before the subcommittee, the meeting adjourned at 4:30 p.m.
