The Committee on Commerce and Labor was called to order at 11:45 p.m., on Sunday, May 30, 1999. Chairman Barbara Buckley presided behind the bar of the Assembly at the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada. Assemblymen Perkins, Arberry, Beers, Berman, Dini, Giunchigliani, Goldwater, Hettrick, Humke, Nolan, Parks, and Segerblom were in attendance. Assemblywoman Evans was excused.

Senate Bill 557: Requires certain policies of health insurance to include coverage for treatment of conditions relating to severe mental illness. (BDR 57- 1789)

ASSEMBLYWOMAN GIUNCHIGLIANI MOVED TO DO PASS SENATE BILL (S.B.) 557.

ASSEMBLYWOMAN BERMAN SECONDED THE MOTION.

THE MOTION PASSED WITH ASSEMBLYWOMAN EVANS NOT PRESENT FOR THE VOTE.
