The Subcommittee on Judiciary was called to order at 3:33 p.m. on Thursday, March 4, 1999. Chairwoman Genie Ohrenschall presided in Room 3138 of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada. Exhibit A is the Agenda. Exhibit B is the Guest List. All Exhibits are available and on file at the Research Library of the Legislative Counsel Bureau.

Assembly Bill 121: Authorizes court to enter judgment of conviction and impose sentence if person who is issued traffic citation violates his written promise to appear. (BDR 14-842)

Testimony was heard on A.B. 121, and Exhibits C and D were submitted for the record.

Transcription of minutes was not required. The taped recording of the meeting is on file with the Legislative Counsel Bureau Research Library.

Legal counsel needed time to review the language of the amendment to the bill. The subcommittee would schedule to meet in a week or less. There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 4:10 p.m..
