The Committee on Judiciary was called to order at 12:40 p.m., on Monday, April 19, 1999, behind the bar of the Assembly by Chairman Bernie Anderson.

The Assembly Committee on Judiciary met behind the bar in the Assembly Chambers for the purpose of informing the committee A.B. 542 would be amended to change the word "may" to "shall" in section 7, line 24, of the bill.

There was a quorum present and no vote was needed.

The meeting adjourned at 12:50 p.m.
