The Committee on Judiciary was called to order by Chairman Bernie Anderson at 11:15 a.m., on May 20, 1999, behind the bar of the Assembly.

COMMITTEE MEMBERS PRESENT:

BDR S-1760 – Amends Assembly Bill No. 284 and Senate Bill No. 471 of 1999 Legislative Session (A.B. 689).

Chairman Anderson told the committee he had received a Bill Draft Request for committee introduction. He pointed out it contained technical corrections that needed to be made to Assembly Bill 284 and Senate Bill 471.

ASSEMBLYMAN COLLINS MOVED FOR COMMITTEE INTRODUCTION OF BDR S-1760.

ASSEMBLYWOMAN OHRENSCHALL SECONDED THE MOTION.

THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY BY THOSE PRESENT.

At 11:20 a.m., Chairman Anderson stated the committee stood in recess.
