The Senate Committee on Commerce and Labor was called to order by Chairman Randolph J. Townsend, at 8:38 p.m., on Sunday, May 30, 1999, on the Senate Floor of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada. There was no Agenda. There was no Attendance Roster.

Senator Townsend introduced Senate Bill (S.B.) 557 and invited comment.

SENATE BILL 557: Requires certain policies of health insurance to include coverage for treatment of conditions relating to severe mental illness. (BDR 57-1789)

SENATOR AMODEI MOVED TO DO PASS SENATE BILL 557.

SENATOR SHAFFER SECONDED THE MOTION.

THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
