The Senate Committee on Finance was called to order by Chairman William J. Raggio, at 12:40 p.m., on Wednesday, May 12, 1999, on the Senate Floor of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada. There was no Agenda. There was no Attendance Roster.

Senator Raggio described the provisions of Senate Bill 546 and invited comment.

SENATE BILL 546: Makes supplemental appropriation to Commission on Ethics for anticipated shortfall in operational expenses. (BDR S-1737)

SENATOR RAWSON MOVED TO DO PASS SENATE BILL 546.

SENATOR NEAL SECONDED THE MOTION.

THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.

SENATE BILL 547: Makes appropriation to Welfare Division of Department of Human Resources for expenses related to NOMADS Project. (BDR S-1738)

SENATOR COFFIN MOVED TO DO PASS SENATE BILL 547.

SENATOR JACOBSEN SECONDED THE MOTION.

THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
