The Senate Committee on Legislative Affairs and Operations was called to order by Chairman Jon C. Porter, at 11:40 a.m., on Monday, February 22, 1999, on the Senate Floor of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada. There was no Agenda. There was no Attendance Roster.

Chairman Porter requested a motion authorizing the draft of a resolution supporting Taiwan in the World Health Organization.

SENATOR RAGGIO MOVED TO AUTHORIZE THE DRAFT OF A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING PARTICIPATION OF TAIWAN IN WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION.

SENATOR RAWSON SECONDED THE MOTION.

THE MOTION CARRIED. (SENATOR MATHEWS WAS ABSENT FOR THE VOTE.)
