The Senate Committee on Legislative Affairs and Operations was called to order by Chairman Jon C. Porter, at 12:50 p.m., on Tuesday, April 6, 1999, on the Senate Floor of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada. There was no Agenda. There was no Attendance Roster.

Chairman Porter opened the meeting and asked for a motion of introduction on Bill Draft Request (BDR) R-1715.

BILL DRAFT REQUEST R-1715: Revises Joint Standing Rules of Senate and Assembly for 70th legislative session to exempt resolutions from certain rules relating to limitations on introduction and requests for legislative measures and schedule for their enactment. (Later introduced as Senate Concurrent Resolution 28.)

SENATOR RAGGIO MOVED TO INTRODUCE BDR R-1715.

SENATOR JAMES SECONDED THE MOTION.

THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.

 

 

Chairman Porter adjourned the meeting at 12:55 p.m.
