The Senate Committee on Natural Resources was called to order by Chairman Dean A. Rhoads, at 12:30 p.m., on Friday, May 21, 1999, on the Senate Floor of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada. There was no Agenda. There was no Attendance Roster.

Chairman Rhoads opened discussion on Assembly Bill (A.B.) 103, and stated the committee needs to rescind its previous motion of amend and do pass as amended because the amendment was only a technical amendment.

Assembly Bill 103: Reestablishes state department of agriculture. (BDR 18-102)

SENATOR SHAFFER MOVED TO RESCIND THE PREVIOUS ACTION TAKEN ON A.B. 103.

SENATOR JACOBSEN SECONDED THE MOTION.

THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.

Chairman Rhoads opened discussion on A.B. 408, and commented that the previous action needs to be rescinded and needs a motion of amend and do pass with Amendment No. 1011.
