The Senate Committee on Taxation was called to order by Chairman Mike McGinness, at 1:11 p.m., on Tuesday, May 25, 1999, on the Senate Floor of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada. There was no Agenda. There was no Attendance Roster.

Chairman McGinness requested a motion to concur or to not concur with Amendment No. 1087 to Senate Bill (S.B.) 521.

SENATE BILL 521: Revises provisions governing exemption of works of fine art from certain taxes. (BDR 32-1661)

SENATOR COFFIN MOVED TO NOT CONCUR WITH AMENDMENT NO. 1087 TO SENATE BILL 521.

SENATOR NEAL SECONDED THE MOTION.

THE MOTION FAILED. (SENATORS NEAL, COFFIN, AND O’CONNELL VOTED IN THE AFFIRMATIVE.)

SENATOR TOWNSEND SECONDED THE MOTION.
