The Senate Committee on Taxation was called to order by Chairman Mike McGinness, at 10:36 p.m., on Sunday, May 30, 1999, on the Senate Floor of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada. There was no Agenda. There was no Attendance Roster.

Chairman McGinness indicated that Senator Jon C. Porter, Sr., Clark County Senatorial District No. 1, reported that the proposed amendment to Senate Bill (S.B.) 259 could not be drafted because it was not germane.

SENATE BILL 259: Revises provisions governing licensing of businesses that create or produce motion pictures. (BDR 32-1099)

SENATOR TOWNSEND MOVED TO RESCIND THE PREVIOUS MOTION TO NOT CONCUR WITH AMENDMENT NOS. 944, 1060, AND 1211 TO SENATE BILL 259.

SENATOR O’CONNELL SECONDED THE MOTION.

THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
