The Senate Committee on Transportation was called to order by Chairman William R. O'Donnell, at 12:10 p.m., on Friday, April 16, 1999, in the Senate Chambers of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada. There was no agenda, there was no attendance roster.

Chairman O’Donnell opened the floor session on Senate Bill (S.B.) 450.
SENATE BILL 450: Changes provisions for imposition of vehicle privilege tax and limits operation of certain vehicles. (BDR 32-1477)
Chairman O’Donnell stated the section on the privilege tax needed to be amended, and the section on electric cars should be left in. He requested motions accordingly.
SENATOR CARE MOVED TO RESCIND AMENDMENT NO. 584 on S.B. 450.
SENATOR WIENER SECONDED THE MOTION.
THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.

SENATOR AMODEI MOVED TO AMEND AND DO PASS AS AMENDED S.B. 450 WITH AMENDMENT NO. 675.
SENATOR JACOBSEN SECONDED THE MOTION.
THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
