The Senate Committee on Transportation was called to order by Chairman William R. O'Donnell, at 12:43 p.m., on Wednesday, May 12, 1999, on the Senate Floor of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada. There was no Agenda. There was no Attendance Roster. All exhibits are available and on file at the Research Library of the Legislative Counsel Bureau.

Chairman O’Donnell opened the floor session on Senate Joint Resolution (S.J.R.) 21.

SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION 21: Expresses concern regarding proposals redefining space in which aircraft may be flown over Grand Canyon. (BDR R-1729)

Chairman O’Donnell read aloud a memo from Tom Tait, Executive Director, Nevada Commission on Tourism (Exhibit A). He requested a motion accordingly.

SENATOR AMODEI MOVED TO DO PASS S.J.R. 21.

SENATOR SHAFFER SECONDED THE MOTION.

THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY
