AN ACT relating to campgrounds; revising the fees required to be paid by certain developers who sell memberships in campgrounds; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

1-1 Section 1. NRS 119B.210 is hereby amended to read as follows:

1-2 119B.210 1. The administrator shall collect the following fees at

1-3 such times and upon such conditions as he may provide by regulation:

1-4 For an initial permit to sell memberships in a campground $500

1-5 For renewal of a permit 500

1-6 For each amendment to a public offering statement after the

1-7 issuance of the report 100

1-8 Application fee for registration of a representative 65

1-9 For renewal of the registration of a representative 65

1-10 For each transfer of a registration of a representative to a

1-11 different developer or location 20

1-12 For reinstatement of the registration of a representative 25

2-1 2. Each developer shall pay an additional fee for each membership he

2-2 sells in a campground [containing] in which more than 50 [sites for

2-3 camping] memberships are available pursuant to the following schedule:

2-4 Amount to be

2-5 Number of [time shares] memberships paid per [site] membership

2-6 51—250 $5.00

2-7 251—500 4.00

2-8 501—750 3.00

2-9 751—1500 2.50

2-10 over 1500 1.00

2-11 3. The administrator may reduce the fees established by this section if

2-12 the reduction is equitable in relation to the costs of carrying out the

2-13 provisions of this chapter.

2-14 Sec. 2. This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
