AN ACT relating to state parks; requiring the registrar of voters of Clark County to include on the ballot for the next general election an advisory question of whether the Floyd Lamb State Park should be renamed the Tule Springs State Park; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

1-1 Section 1. The registrar of voters of Clark County shall include on the

1-2 ballot for the general election held on November 7, 2000:

1-3 1. The advisory question of whether the Floyd Lamb State Park in Las

1-4 Vegas, Nevada, should be renamed the Tule Springs State Park.

1-5 2. A statement that the passage or defeat of the advisory question

1-6 included on the ballot pursuant to subsection 1 is not binding upon:

1-7 (a) Any local governing body in Clark County;

1-8 (b) The Legislature of the State of Nevada; or

1-9 (c) Any member of the Legislature of the State of Nevada.
