AN ACT making an appropriation to the State Conservation Commission in the State Department of Conservation and Natural Resources for the support of conservation districts; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

1-1 Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the state general fund to

1-2 the State Conservation Commission in the State Department of

1-3 Conservation and Natural Resources for equal distribution to conservation

1-4 districts pursuant to NRS 548.178:

1-5 For the fiscal year 1999-2000 $135,000

1-6 For the fiscal year 2000-2001 $135,000

1-7 Sec. 2. Any balance of the sums appropriated by section 1 of this act

1-8 remaining at the end of the respective fiscal years must not be committed

1-9 for expenditure after June 30 and reverts to the state general fund as soon

1-10 as all payments of money committed have been made.

1-11 Sec. 3. This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
