AN ACT making an appropriation to the revolving account for the management of estray horses in the Virginia Range; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

1-1 Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the state general fund to

1-2 the revolving account for the management of estray horses in the Virginia

1-3 Range, created by section 2 of chapter 610, Statutes of Nevada 1997, at

1-4 page 3059, the sum of $90,000 for feed, veterinary services and related

1-5 expenses of the program.

1-6 Sec. 2. Any remaining balance of the appropriation made by section 1

1-7 of this act must not be committed for expenditure after June 30, 2001, and

1-8 reverts to the state general fund as soon as all payments of money

1-9 committed have been made.

1-10 Sec. 3. This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
