AN ACT making a supplemental appropriation to the Division of Agriculture of the Department of Business and Industry for Veterinary Medical Services for a shortfall in revenue for personnel services; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

1-1 Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the state general fund to

1-2 the Division of Agriculture of the Department of Business and Industry the

1-3 sum of $12,000 for a shortfall in revenue for personnel services. This

1-4 appropriation is supplemental to that made by section 22 of chapter 244,

1-5 Statutes of Nevada 1997, at page 859.

1-6 Sec. 2. Any remaining balance of the supplemental appropriation

1-7 made by section 1 of this act must not be committed for expenditure after

1-8 June 30, 1999, and reverts to the state general fund as soon as all payments

1-9 of money committed have been made.

1-10 Sec. 3. This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
