AN ACT making a supplemental appropriation to the state distributive school account for additional anticipated expenses; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

1-1 Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the state general fund to

1-2 the state distributive school account created by NRS 387.030 the sum of

1-3 $17,900,000 for additional anticipated expenses. This appropriation is

1-4 supplemental to that made by section 4 of chapter 246, Statutes of Nevada

1-5 1997, at page 873.

1-6 Sec. 2. Any remaining balance of the supplemental appropriation

1-7 made by section 1 of this act must not be committed for expenditure after

1-8 June 30, 1999, and reverts to the state general fund as soon as all payments

1-9 of money committed have been made.

1-10 Sec. 3. This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
