THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the state general fund to1-2
the Clark County School District the sum of $200,000 for the continuation1-3
of the pilot program for the instruction of pupils whose primary language1-4
is not English.1-5
Sec. 2. Any remaining balance of the appropriation made by section 11-6
of this act must not be committed for expenditure after June 30, 2001, and1-7
reverts to the state general fund as soon as all payments of money1-8
committed have been made.1-9
Sec. 3. This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.~
