THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. 1. There is hereby appropriated from the state general1-2
fund to the State Public Works Board the sum of $150,000 for two1-3
feasibility studies regarding the construction of Hi-Tech Learning Centers1-4
in:1-5
(a) Lyon County at Yerington High School or Fernley High School; and1-6
(b) Douglas County.1-7
2. On or before March 1, 2001, the State Public Works Board shall1-8
report the results of its studies to the Director of the Legislative Counsel1-9
Bureau for transmittal to the 71st session of the Nevada Legislature.1-10
Sec. 2. Any remaining balance of the appropriation made by section 11-11
of this act must not be committed for expenditure after June 30, 2001, and1-12
reverts to the state general fund as soon as all payments of money1-13
committed have been made.1-14
Sec. 3. This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.~
