AN ACT making a contingent appropriation to the Department of Transportation for the construction of a sound barrier along the ramps of Interstate Highway No. 515 near the Boulder Highway; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

1-1 Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the state general fund to

1-2 the Department of Transportation the sum of $253,290 for the construction

1-3 of a sound barrier along the ramps of Interstate Highway No. 515 near the

1-4 Boulder Highway.

1-5 Sec. 2. The Department of Transportation may use the money

1-6 appropriated pursuant to section 1 of this act only if matching money is

1-7 received in full from local governments or other public or private sources.

1-8 Sec. 3. Any remaining balance of the appropriation made by section 1

1-9 of this act must not be committed for expenditure after the project is

2-1 completed and reverts to the state general fund as soon as all payments of

2-2 money committed have been made.

2-3 Sec. 4. This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
