AN ACT making an appropriation to the University and Community College System of Nevada for the design and development of the Nevada Center for Sustainable Living; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

1-1 Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the state general fund to

1-2 the University and Community College System of Nevada for the design

1-3 and development of the Nevada Center for Sustainable Living:

1-4 For the fiscal year 1999-2000 $255,000

1-5 For the fiscal year 2000-2001 $290,000

2-1 Sec. 2. Any balance of the sums appropriated by section 1 of this act

2-2 remaining at the end of the respective fiscal years must not be committed

2-3 for expenditure after June 30 of the respective fiscal years and reverts to

2-4 the state general fund as soon as all payments of money committed have

2-5 been made.

2-6 Sec. 3. This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
