CHAPTER........

AN ACT making an appropriation to the White Pine County School District for the payment

of short-term debts incurred by the school district; and providing other matters

properly relating thereto.

 

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN

SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
  1. Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the state general fund to
  1. the White Pine County School District the sum of $2,031,337 for the
  1. payment of short-term debts incurred by the school district.
  1. Sec. 2. On or before June 30, 2000, the White Pine County School
  1. District shall submit to the Department of Administration and the Fiscal
  1. Analysis Division of the Legislative Counsel Bureau verification that the
  1. debts have been repaid.
  1. Sec. 3. Any remaining balance of the appropriation made by section 1
  1. of this act must not be committed for expenditure after June 30, 2000, and
  1. reverts to the state general fund as soon as all payments of money
  1. committed have been made.
  1. Sec. 4. This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
