THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. NRS 502.240 is hereby amended to read as follows: 502.240 The division shall issue annual licenses and limited permits:1-3
1. To any person who has not attained his 16th birthday and who has1-4
been a bona fide resident of the State of Nevada for 6 months immediately1-5
preceding his application for a license, upon payment of $5 for an annual1-6
trapping license.1-7
2. Except as otherwise provided in NRS 502.245 and 504.390, to any1-8
person who has attained his 16th birthday and who has been a bona fide1-9
resident of the State of Nevada for 6 months immediately preceding his1-10
application for a license, upon the payment of:1-11
For a fishing license $20.001-12
For a 1-day permit to fish 6.001-13
For each consecutive day added to a 1-day permit to fish 2.001-14
For a hunting license 23.002-1
For a combined hunting and fishing license $38.002-2
For a trapping license 30.002-3
For a fur dealer’s license 50.002-4
For an annual master guide’s license 250.002-5
For an annual subguide’s license 75.002-6
3. To any person who has attained his 12th birthday but who has not2-7
attained his 16th birthday, and who is not a bona fide resident of the State2-8
of Nevada, upon the payment of $8 for an annual fishing license, except2-9
for a fishing license to fish in the reciprocal waters of the Colorado River,2-10
Lake Mead and Lake Mohave, which annual license must cost a sum2-11
agreed upon by the commission and the Arizona Game and Fish2-12
Commission, but not to exceed $30.2-13
4. Except as otherwise provided in subsection 3, to any person who is2-14
not a bona fide resident of the State of Nevada, upon the payment of:2-15
For a fishing license, except for a fishing license to fish in the2-16
reciprocal waters of the Colorado River, Lake Mead and2-17

Sec. 2. NRS 504.295 is hereby amended to read as follows: 504.295 1. Except as otherwise provided in this section and NRS3-9
503.590, or unless otherwise specified by a regulation adopted by the3-10
commission,3-11
(a) Possess any live wildlife unless he is licensed by the division to do3-12
so.3-13
(b) Capture live wildlife in this state to stock a commercial or3-14
noncommercial wildlife facility.3-15
(c) Possess or release from confinement any mammal for the3-16
purpose of hunting.3-17
2. The commission shall adopt regulations for the possession of live3-18
wildlife. The regulations must set forth the species of wildlife which may3-19
be possessed and propagated, and provide for the inspection by the3-20
division of any related facilities.3-21

licenses for the possession of live wildlife upon receipt of the applicable3-25
fee. The division shall not charge or collect a fee for issuing a3-26
commercial license for the possession of live wildlife if, at the time the3-27
application for the license is submitted to the division, the applicant3-28
submits a sworn statement to the division indicating that:3-29
(a) The wildlife will be exhibited to members of the general public for3-30
educational purposes; and3-31
(b) The fees charged by him, if any, for exhibiting the wildlife will not3-32
exceed the cost to feed, shelter or otherwise maintain the wildlife for the3-33
period for which the license is issued.3-34
The statement must be submitted on a form provided by the division.3-35
4. The provisions of this section do not apply to alternative livestock3-36
and products made therefrom.~
