1-1 Section 1. Chapter 623 of NRS is hereby amended by adding thereto

1-2 the provisions set forth as sections 2 and 3 of this act.

1-3 Sec. 2. The secretary of the board shall keep an official register of

1-4 all certificates of registration issued pursuant to NRS 623.349 to a

1-5 partnership, corporation, limited-liability company or other form of

1-6 business organization or association, and the renewals thereof. The

1-7 register must be properly indexed and open for public inspection and

1-8 information.

1-9 Sec. 3. 1. Each partnership, corporation, limited-liability company

1-10 or other form of business organization or association that holds and

1-11 wishes to renew a certificate of registration issued pursuant to NRS

1-12 623.349 shall, before or during the month of July of each year, submit to

1-13 the board the fee for renewal required by the board pursuant to NRS

2-1 623.310 and proof of continued compliance with the provisions of NRS

2-2 623.349.

2-3 2. Upon receipt of the fee for renewal and the required proof, the

2-4 secretary of the board shall execute and issue to the business

2-5 organization or association a renewal form for the certificate of

2-6 registration, certifying that the certificate is renewed for 1 year. The

2-7 renewal form must bear a serial number, the signature or a facsimile

2-8 thereof of the secretary or executive director of the board, and the seal of

2-9 the board.

2-10 3. The renewal form must be recorded, together with its serial

2-11 number, by the secretary of the board in the official register of the board

2-12 kept pursuant to section 2 of this act.

2-13 Sec. 4. This act becomes effective on July 1, 1999.
