THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. 1. The commission for the preservation of wild horses is1-2
hereby authorized to spend no more than $75,000 in the Heil trust fund for1-3
wild horses created pursuant to NRS 504.450 to conduct a study of the1-4
feasibility of establishing a private foundation to promote the adoption of1-5
wild horses and burros by members of the general public.1-6
2. The commission for the preservation of wild horses shall submit a1-7
written report of the results of the study to the Director of the Legislative1-8
Counsel Bureau for transmission to the 71st session of the Nevada1-9
Legislature.1-10
Sec. 2. This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.~
