THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. NRS 581.050 is hereby amended to read as follows: 581.050 1. The state sealer of weights and measures may:1-3
(a) Adopt regulations for the efficient enforcement of this chapter.1-4
(b) Ensure that those regulations comply, insofar as practicable, with the1-5
specifications, tolerances and regulations recommended by the National1-6
Bureau of Standards.1-7
(c) Adopt regulations for the submission for approval of types and1-8
designs of weights and measures and weighing, measuring and counting1-9
devices intended for commercial use.1-10
(d) Adopt regulations relating to the size of the containers used for the1-11
retail sale of fluid dairy products pursuant to NRS 581.320.1-12
2. The state sealer of weights and measures shall adopt regulations1-13
which prescribe the:1-14
(a) Standards for weighing and measuring devices;2-1
(b) Requirements for the issuance of a certificate of registration pursuant2-2
to NRS 581.103; and2-3
(c) Standards for the equipment used to repair or adjust weighing or2-4
measuring devices.2-5
Sec. 2. NRS 581.320 is hereby amended to read as follows: 581.320 1. All fluid dairy products, including cream and buttermilk,2-7

half liquid pint, 10 fluid ounces, 1 liquid pint, 1 liquid quart, one-half2-9
gallon, 3 liquid quarts, 1 gallon, 1 1/2 gallons, 2 gallons, 2 1/2 gallons ,2-10
multiples of 1 gallon2-11
