THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. NRS 581.320 is hereby amended to read as follows: 581.320 1. All fluid dairy products1-3

(a) Units of 1 gill or less, one-half liquid pint, 10 fluid ounces, 1 liquid1-5
pint, 1 liquid quart, one-half gallon, 3 liquid quarts, 1 gallon, 1 1/2 gallons,1-6
2 gallons, 2 1/2 gallons or multiples of 1 gallon1-7
(b) Such other amounts as are approved, jointly, by the state dairy1-8
commission and the state sealer of weights and measures.1-9
2. Each container used for the sale of such products1-10

(a) Be marked with its capacity2-1
(b) Be marked with the name, initial or trade-mark of the manufacturer2-2

(c) Be marked with such other information as required by the state2-5
dairy commission and the state sealer of weights and measures; and2-6
(d) If the fluid dairy product is packaged for retail sale in an amount2-7
other than a unit of measure listed in paragraph (a) of subsection 1, be2-8
marked with its capacity in fluid ounces and a comparison of that2-9
quantity with the unit of measure that is closest in volume in sufficient2-10
size and prominence to inform the public of the difference in volume.2-11
3. This section does not apply to eating establishments serving milk in2-12
glasses with meals.2-13
Sec. 2. This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.~
