ASSEMBLY CONCURRENT RESOLUTIONAmending the Joint Rules of the Senate and

Assembly for the 70th legislative session to require final action and a recorded vote be taken

on each legislative measure heard by a standing committee.

1-1 Resolved by the Assembly of the State of Nevada, the Senate

1-2 Concurring, That the Joint Standing Rules of the Senate and Assembly

1-3 as adopted by the 70th session of the Legislature are amended by the

1-4 following addition:

1-5 CONSIDERATION OF LEGISLATIVE MEASURES
1-6 HEARD BY COMMITTEES

1-7 Rule No. 14.9. Requirement of Recorded Vote on Final Action by

1-8 Standing Committee.

1-9 Each standing committee of the Legislature shall take a final action

1-10 upon each legislative measure which has been considered during a

1-11 public hearing by the standing committee. The standing committee shall

1-12 record the vote of each member of the standing committee on the final

1-13 action taken on each legislative measure.
