Amend sec. 2, page 2, line 22, before "A" by inserting "1.".

Amend sec. 2, page 2, line 24, by deleting "1." and inserting "[1.] (a)".

Amend sec. 2, page 2, line 25, by deleting "2." and inserting "[2.] (b)".

Amend sec. 2, page 2, line 27, by deleting "3." and inserting "[3.] (c)".

"For the purposes of this subsection, a person shall not be ineligible to be a candidate for the office of justice of the peace if a decision to remove or retire him from a judicial office is pending appeal before the supreme court or has been overturned by the supreme court.".

Amend sec. 5, page 3, between lines 31 and 32, by inserting:

"3. For the purposes of this section, a person shall not be ineligible to be a candidate for the office of municipal judge if a decision to remove or retire him from a judicial office is pending appeal before the supreme court or has been overturned by the supreme court.".

Amend sec. 6, page 4, after line 12, by inserting:

"5. For the purposes of this section, a person shall not be ineligible to be a candidate for the office of municipal judge pro tempore if a decision to remove or retire him from a judicial office is pending appeal before the supreme court or has been overturned by the supreme court.".
